It’s way expensive to the point of ridiculousness. Then they wear LGBT colors and Spanish names on their jerseys. I still follow it some, but it’s not that great.

Part of the problem is that MLB is run by people who don’t like or understand baseball. They think you can’t market the game, but that’s exactly what they need to do.
I don’t have the time nor money for wokesport.

Oh yeah and the constant barrage of equity and of course stupid rule changes where baseball carries 15 pitchers.
Listening to announcers bragging on a guy going four whole innings or towering homers from a guy batting .240 and of course the man on second, no outs in extra innings is T ball BS.
Love the game but no way you go to a game and have to show a vax card then watch six pitching changes per team and guys claiming their home runs like they’re superman.
For me it’s the DH. Stinks.
Combination of factors: inflation and the high prices of seats/food at the game, the demographic of the loyal baseball fans (older generations are the fan base; younger people have less interest in the pace of baseball), and the high prevalence of South American/Carribean players that makes them harder to connect with. People at this forum overestimate the negative effects of Wokeness. Yes, it’s annoying, but not likely a big factor.

Yep. I was a big baseball fan. Almost paid for a MLBTV subscription....then saw the league went woke. Lost my business.

MLB PRETENDS and breaks the rule about “lying to yourself”. The LIST of what’s wrong with MLB is long and I didn’t see the most egregious ones in this article.
The players union AND THE OWNERS have priced themselves out of attendance by millions is their top problem. I’m not paying anyone 6 bucks for a hot dog or 10 bucks for a beer.
The second problem is that the MLB has gone WOKE which is a term more convenient to use than UN-PATRIOTIC. Put another way, millions of us feel that a majority of MLB players and owners are not Patriots.
