Seems to me reports of the side effects of Viagara were only anecdotal, until researchers checked them out and found out they weren’t and a whole new money making drug for big pharma was born.

Commies always argue this way. They want you to ignore dangers you can clearly see by introducing self-doubt and using people’s natural tendency to look toward “authority figures” or “experts” for answers.

It’s often misquoted, but the plural of anecdote IS data. IIRC, it is referred to as “The preponderance of evidence.”
