I was homeschooled. I figure it saved about six years, since I was at 12th grade level when I was twelve years old, rather than eighteen.
Probably even quicker now, nobody needs antiquated stuff like cursive, clock reading and history...

Cursive teaches fine motor skills and near hand/eye coordination.
Analog clocks will be all we have when the grid goes down.
History is how a culture learns from its success and failures and is foundational to that culture..
