This must be one really corrupt town. The fact that every single police officer wasn't immediately fired and the State Police brought in to replace them is very telling.
What is the Governor of Texas doing about this? Why isn't the Uvalde city government being forced out? WTF?!

What is the Governor of Texas doing about this? Why isn't the Uvalde city government being forced out? WTF?!The investigation is still underway. Last week saw testimony that they actually disarmed and restrained a police officer who wanted to go in because his wife was a teacher inside and was bleeding out.
She died.
Let the investigation be complete so we get the full picture of the failure.
