Last winter, EU used about 2000 BCF from storage over the course of the entire winter.

Storage went from 3000 BCF to 1000 BCF.

It can easily be seen from the graph.

Storage back up to 2100 BCF. So already rebuilt more than 1/2 of what was consumed last winter.

That winter was also while they were still importing gas and oil from Russia, notwithstanding the tail end in February/March after the invasion.

The matter of price for the European consumer will be an interesting point of data once this year's winter arrives, especially in light of how workers in places like Brussels are already striking in response to the higher prices in fuel and food.
