Nolte: Biden’s Computer Chip Shortage Kills ‘Solution’ for Biden’s Record Gas Prices
breitbart ^ | 06/17/2022 | John Nolte

Joe Biden’s computer chip shortage has killed off one proposed White House solution (if you want to call it that) for people suffering under Joe Biden’s record gas prices.

His Fraudulency Joe Biden deliberately caused these record gas prices with an executive order that killed domestic oil and gas expansion and exploration. But now that his approval ratings are in the dumpster, the White House thought one “solution” to this might be to offer Americans free money in the form of gasoline rebate cards. There’s just one problem… Those cards would require a computer chip, and along with all the other shortages this administration has caused (everything from baby formula to tampons), we also have a computer chip shortage.

This should be Byedone's assessment of his administration. Of course, he's the head moron.

Don’t EV’s require computer chips also?

Yes EV’s require 3 times more chips than a combustion engine.

“EV’s require 3 times more chips than a combustion engine”

Reason # 296 I don’t want a battery operated car......like I needed another reason.

So, we have record inflation because the Federales have been handing out massive quantities of “free” money.
And now the Moron-in-Chief wants to hand out MORE money?

I just looked at US oil production and you can see the continued rise up to 2020 and then it started dropping IN 2020. 2021 is actually a bit up. 2022 is more than 2021 so far. I'm surprised as I was anticipating a bigger drop off once Biden moved into the White House. Skipping the long-term impact of Biden's actions, I don't see any immediate ones.

Take a look, what am I missing here? https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=mcrfpus2&f=m

And what about natural gas, etc.?

Green energy doesn’t work without batteries. Full terawatt scale production is years away. Until then we need a prodigious amount of fossil fuel. Federal policy won’t advance battery production.

There are times I want to get another vehicle with a carburetor and ignition points. No chips at all, unless I’m eating Doritos on a long trip.

“I want to get another vehicle with a carburetor and ignition points”

They are certainly still available.....the problem is the people selling are very proud of ‘em.....if you know what I mean.

There’s something sneaky about chips, especially the more complex ones, that we should never forget, namely, that we the public doesn’t know everything they do. We can’t see inside them. A chip in your phone or car could be doing something that you aren’t aware of.

The more complex chips have software that can be changed (downloaded) remotely without you knowing about it.

Instead of smart phones, smart cars, instead of “smart” think “what is this thing doing”.

LOL...yep.
A ‘72 340 4-speed Dodge Demon would work, but that old trusty ‘65 Plymouth Valiant station wagon with a 225 slant 6 would probably be the better choice with the price of gas now.
