CNN anchor Brian Stelter is set to be axed in a matter of “weeks if not days” as the network’s new owners push to rid the cable news outlet of its far-left propaganda reputation.
Jon Nicosia, President of News Cycle Media, has been the first to report on numerous stories about the dysfunction at CNN.
Nicosia had the inside scoop leading up to the collapse of the Chris Wallace-led streaming service CNN Plus.
Now Nicosia says Brian Stelter has “weeks if not days” left at the network.
The news of Stelter’s downfall comes as another report from Mediaite claims CNN employees are already complaining about changes made by new management under the company’s new pro-Trump owner John Malone.
One staffer reportedly complained that “we didn’t have this problem until John Malone was sitting on the board of this company.”
Nicosia reported:
SOURCE: “Stelter is ‘down to weeks if not days’ left at CNN. They go on ‘He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past.
They continue: ‘Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks’
Other CNN employees were complaining about changes made by Chris Licht and the new boss – billionaire Trump donor Malone.
“It seems to indicate where things are headed,” a CNN source told Mediaite about changes made from on high.
“We didn’t have this problem until John Malone was sitting on the board of this company.”
“It’s worrisome that we’re being told how to talk about one of the worst things that ever happened to American democracy.”
From Mediaite:
New CNN president Chris Licht discouraged staff from using “the big lie” to refer to former President Donald Trump’s false claims about the 2020 election, Mediaite has learned.
On a Tuesday conference call with management and show executive producers, Licht was asked for his thoughts on “the big lie,” and said he preferred that staff avoid the term.
He made clear this was a preference, not a mandate, but staffers have taken it as a clear directive from the new boss.
He encouraged producers to instead use the terms “Trump election lie” or “election lies” in banners and graphics.
According to a source, Licht argued that using “the big lie” makes the mistake of adopting branding used by the Democratic Party, thereby weakening the objectivity of the network.
What is he even qualified to do? Any real world skills? Starbucks wouldn’t even hire him.
“Weakening the objectivity of the network”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He’s extremely well qualified as a spokesman...for The Hair Club for Men.
He’s apparently quallified to eat Twinkies all day and spew liberal crap when nobody is watching...................

What’s an unemployed potato to do?
CNN can barely compete with MSNBC. Anyone with a brain and the intentions of running a successful news operation would clean out the mostly Leftist activists and replace them with journalists.
I didn’t go to business school or journalism school or TV school and I could make it a more successful network than it currently is by axing all the Lefties.
In one piece of good news for Brian Stelter, “NHS board says ‘eunuch’ should formally be recognised as a gender”

A little light on self awareness, aren’t they.
Become french fries.
They keep saying these people are leaving, but they never do.
Stelter was/is the worst, but there are others @ CNN who are pretty close to his level of suck. Don Lemon for one.
He should hook up with Chris Stirewalt and do an anti-trump podcast with 3 listeners.
I believe that is precisely what is happening.
As contracts expire, they will be replaced by attrition......................
When his contract is up, he will be gone....................
“They keep saying these people are leaving, but they never do.”
CNN is like the Hotel California.
Would you like fries with that?.......................
Too bad that with Fox News’ current trajectory CNN can’t see the giant vacuum waiting to be filled.
No way MSNBC would take him. Unless he goes tranny.
