There are more activist non-conservatives than activist conservatives.

Yes. The democrats have done an excellent job of getting a huge number of Americans hooked on government handouts. Once someone is receiving government benefits they are very likely to vote democrat in order to preserve their money stream.

NOT AT ALL.

Democrats would be a page in a history book if they didn’t cheat every single election.

I’ve asked for evidence of cheating in the elections of power hungry democrats. Pelosi. Schumer. Feinstein. Etc al.

Now I even ask for any evidence of fair elections.

Make no mistake. We are losing. We have lost. It was over before we even knew it had begun.

But we are NOT a minority.

No.

The activist media silences our viewpoints and paints that image. I think most people are fairly conservative.

Are we talking American citizens only?

Yes, but most of them don’t know they are really conservatives. The Rats, for years, have hidden their true agenda.

Most people are middle right. But the progressives want you to think that’s deviant behavior.

Put down social media and talk to people. If you are not talking to them on a college campus…you will discover more people like yourself.

I agree. Well said.

There have always been and always will be more NON conservatives than conservatives. Conservatives aren’t even a majority in the Republican party.

The vast majority, probably 40-60% of the middle of the road “non political” people in America just want to eat, drink and be merry; buy and sell; and be entertained to death (aka bread and circuses.)

Progressives may not believe in having children, but they believe in having ours through constant indoctrination in pre-K through post grad, the media, entertainment, etc.

Unless everyone can agree on a definition of “conservative”, this is an entirely pointless question.

Well, we have the Inner Party; politicians and staff, lobbyists, Big Law enforcement and so forth.

Then we have the outer party; civil servants, minor administrators, teachers et. al.

I believe these alone are equal to the number of people pulling the wagon without counting the hoards drawing a paycheck from Big Gov.

So, yes, Big Gov is bigger than us.

In California the ratio of Democrats to Republicans is 2:1

And only half of California’s registered Republicans are any kind of conservative. Legal immigration continues to play a big role in this.

I would bet a lot of conservatives are underground & only let their conservatism out in the voting booth.

I don't believe it. I'm old enough to remember Spiro Agnew talking about the Silent Majority. Agnew was correct, and when the right candidate came along a few years later (Reagan), the ensuing electoral landslide proved it.

The woke are getting their way by bullying, propaganda, and Orwellian Newspeak, not by actual numbers. Unfortunately this can be a successful strategy, at least for a while (look at the Cultural Revolution in China).

It doesn’t matter, when the left is in charge of counting the votes.

Depends on how you define "conservative." In elections the country is about half Republican and half Democrat, but you also have to take into account people who don't vote, and those who do vote, but aren't committed to either party. That probably means that neither left nor right has a majority.

Parties and movements are coalitions of factions, and for some time now the Democrats or progressives have been more united. By contrast, social conservatives and free marketeers don't always agree about everything, and there doesn't appear to be one conservative line on foreign policy, so it's harder to get conservatives or Republicans to agree about anything.

Also, some people define "true conservatism" in terms of supporting things that will never happen. If true conservatism means repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments, returning to the gold standard, ending foreign aid, US out of the UN, and deregulation of everything, then certainly "true conservatives" aren't anywhere near a majority in the country.

Finally, people are more mixed up and spread around now. The Bush era liked to divide the red states and the blue states, the US and Europe, the Old Europe and the New Europe. At this point it's clearer that those lines between countries and between states aren't as rigid as they once may have been. There is going to be a strong reaction this year against Biden, but whether that means you'll see a solid conservative majority in the country is harder to say.

Hard to say.

Since the word 'conservative' is so subjective. Just like 'MAGA'.

What the hell does it mean, specifically? Ask 10 people, expect 12 answers.

America was founded on objectively defined Freedom. Not anyone's notion of conservatism.

I do think larger segments of society are being taught that America's foundation on individual Freedom is bad. It's selfish because based on individual rights. It's sideways racist simply because it is objective. Etc.

I blame Republicans. Democrats are democracy-driven, mob rule true to form. We Rs are supposed to be Free Republic-driven, but mostly our side talks about 'democracy' as sacred when in fact the Constitution is there to protect us FROM it.
