This is beyond disgusting.
It wont be... for two reasons really.
1. There have been no leaks of value. If there was actual evidence that Trump planned a “coup” then we would have seen it by now in some form.
2. An exABC exec is producing this political theater- last time I checked the only thing less trustworthy than congress was the media... no one cares.
It already has been. Now they want to get the media to cover it as we approach November. Thankfully this circus has an end date, unlike government programs.

The difference between a protest and a coup is organization. So far there has been nothing to suggest that the ad hoc group of frustrated individuals was organized whatsoever (excluding the likely government or DNC provocateurs stirring up trouble). The protesters had no assignments or a coherent plan. The Dem’s “novel theory” is that Trump ordered a coup by complaining about election fraud, by and suggesting that State legislatures should look into whether their slates of electors were legitimately chosen. Rhetoric demanding legality is not much of a coup.
Unless it can be shown that Trump ordered particular people to perform particular illegal acts to seize power, their theory is a nullity.
