Good news though — salvage crews managed to scrape up almost all the filler and delivered it to the packer just in time.

Ooh, pink asphalt. Just moosh it around and fill in the potholes. Probably last as long as the black stuff.
In addition, if they leave it there on the side of the road for a week — it will still be there and neither rats nor flies will have touched it. Well, some might have, but they died.
