Colorado doctors report bizarre spring flu season

Flu season in Colorado usually peaks between December and February, but this year it peaked in the spring.

“We actually saw a huge rise in cases in May, and it was influenza A,” said Dr. Michelle Barron, senior medical director of infection prevention at UCHealth. “There’s A and B. Usually, we see B in the spring, not A, and it was behaving a lot like what we normally see in December and January.”

Barron said there were three to four times as many cases in April and May as there were in December and January — “which again is the opposite of what we normally see, which is why it was so striking,” she said.

Weakened immunity brought to you by lockdowns, mask-holes, and the jab.

My wife is just now recovering from a nasty flu. She’s double vaxxed and has had one booster. She also had a flu shot. I’ve had no shots and I’m just fine working off of my natural immunity.

My son-in-law manages the Hilton Salon on the Big Island. He got this flu, tested for it, and was So Sick for a week. High fever that didn’t want to go away. My daughter got it,too. I was worried for them. They are now on the mend, thank fortune. It was Type A, and it must be going around places on the mainland. But Covid, right?....

Coincidence? 🤔

My wife is jabbed too, after having the China virus in early 2000. She caught it again - badly - has been complaining of ‘long covid’ symptoms’ and combatting multiple weird health issues.

I fully expect her to have a bad bout with the flu this fall (she will probably catch it from me since she’s remote working and rarely ventures out), whereas I can’t recall the last time I had a fever prior to the China virus.

But they’ll deny it until their last breath.

Have her hormone levels checked. COVID depleted mine. Once they boosted my hormones, I started to recover.

I suspect people are also avoiding the flu shot that used to take it.

I’ve always been a flu shot person (and really all vaccines), but my level of trust dropped dramatically.

No, the antibodies are still around for years.

The problem is the flu virus constantly mutates and last years is seldom good match for whatever comes in spring.

typical covid propaganda lies from colorado’s official medical organ:

https://www.uchealth.org/today/strange-spring-flu-spike-likely-related-to-covid-19/

to wit:

Colorado has experienced a strange, spring spike in flu cases this year, and like many other trends in the post-pandemic world, this year’s odd flu season likely is related to COVID-19.

“It’s wild. It’s throwing everyone for a loop,” infectious disease expert, Dr. Michelle Barron, said of the 2022 flu season. “A lot of people have caught the flu in the last few weeks. It’s here. A lot of us got our flu shots in August. The vaccine might not have been a perfect match for this year’s flu. And any protection we had probably has worn off by now.”

Barron sees a direct link between the end of COVID-19 mask mandates and the spring spike in flu infections.

“It has everything to do with COVID-19,” said Barron

“In February and March, when people stopped wearing masks, we started seeing flu cases rise. By April and May, there were more than 1,100 cases a week (in Colorado’s most populous counties),” Barron said.

[of course, this is utter nonsense and even the least critically thinking person ought to see the blatant contradictions here, namely, in no other spring prior to covid was anyone wearing masks in Colorado, oh, except THIS “strange” spring these lying fool infectious disease “experts” claim that NOT wearing masks THIS spring is causing the unprecedented spring flu outbreak ...

uchealth has been utterly co-opted in promoting the most outlandish official lies about covid and the experimental not-vaccines promoted by the CDC, FDA & WHO ... i’ve completely lost respect for the UCH institution ...]
