We just signed up with the auto and homeowner insurance that Costco sells. Hubby is a scientist and researches everything to death, and settled on that one.

They said they stopped distributing the books but no word on firing people so the cancer continues at State Farm.

Do a search for mutual insurance companies in your state. They are a little closer to their customers.

Anyone familiar with MetroMile? I have a 2016 Subaru Outback, purchased in 2015, with 33,000 miles. Mr. Inspectorette and I loved our road trips, but since his passing five years ago, I prefer to take Amtrak. At my age, my driving skills and reflexes aren't what they used to be, and I don't enjoy driving freeways.
Have always had State Farm, but even with car getting older, premiums keep going up.
