I’m surprised they gave the name of a juvenile.
At age eighteen, the kid in Florida will be able to buy a firearm because his juvenile record will be erased.
That needs to stop. Didn’t Ramos have a juvenile record that was unseen and unknown when he went to buy his firearms?
This will last about a week and then we go back to ignoring “mass shooting ideation” because we would be arrested hundreds of kids every week. Suicide ideation is popular among people under 30.

Exactly. They cannot put the phones down. It’s like it’s painful for them to not be in constant contact.
The police are going to have to crack down on this and investigate every threat. A 10 year old should know better than to even joke about that. I wonder if the parents knew or the child that received the text told.
Have you forgotten the Jonesboro school shooting. The shooters were 11 and 13, a 10 year can certainly be a threat.
You did a good job as a parent to pay attention to your child. Good for you. Like you said many have no father. The internet can be a good useful source of fun and education. But also a dark place of danger. When we were young and would be bullied at school we could escape it when school was out and play at home with our friends. But now when they get home and get online the bullying will continue via social media.
Also have to watch there emails and chat. When my daughter was young I spied on her emails and found she was in contact with a predator. He was a 35 year old and my daughter was 13. Of course she was lying about her age and so was he. When I found out I went on the jail website and printed out the most deranged and ugly nasty looking older guy I could find along with a criminal background page that I totally made up. Made it look official. I called her out on it and slammed down about 5 pages of stuff including that picture and told her thats who she was chatting with. She was horrified and shocked. Balled her eyes out and kept telling me she was sorry. I gave her a hug and we sat down with her mom and sent a email to the guy. Telling him she was 13. He didnt know because she said she was 17. Which is still underage. But he had a short reply of sorry and never attempted to contact her again and blocked her on chat. This was before facebook and all that. Now I assume it’s much worse. Now she is 34 and has a boy.
Precisely right and it can't be repeated often enough. The Left owns these tragedies and this point needs to be emphasized strongly each and every time they try to blame it on the NRA or lack of yet another gun law (which they will enforce about as much as they do our southern border).
