It’s all a probability and odds issue anyway. More defensive arms reduces the number of innocents lost, but never down to zero.

If you take guns out of the school, the bad guys can get them and have more.
If you put more guns in school, that’s less for the bad guys.

I also believe that they were out there quite a while too.
So it took an hour for an armed asset to reach the gunman. And were to suppose if there were armed assets IN the building alrea, trained to act , things might have not went better? This is what passes for analysis these days.
