Our grocery store’s Wagyu ground beef isn’t that much more than regular ground beef.
That’s what I was thinking, it would be like a deli-slice
of Wagyu... you could see light come through it.
The Arby’s around here used to be Burger Chef restaurants..
I dimly remember Burger Chef, I think there still is one
inside a mall about 70 miles from here...

Ground up Wagyu wouldn’t be any better than regular fatty burger meat. What makes Wagyu good is the marbling, which means a lot in steak form, where the muscle is essentially intact, but is meaningless in ground beef, where the fat is uniformly mixed up in the burger regardless of what breed it is.

American Wagyu, not close to the real deal Japanese stuff. Still probably less than 15% is my guess,
