“Has there really been any substantial public clamor for a hearing on this?”

Is there anyone out there who wants to hear more government babble on this subject?

If they actually knew anything worthwhile there is zero chance they would share it with the peons.

The speed of light issue is so yesterday.

Use the super-duper wormhole generator energy machine and you can go anywhere in the universe faster than you can say “Congressional hearing”....

;-)

I thought the 2010 ‘Disclosure’ conference at the National Press Club was kind of interesting, especially Robert Salas.

(The Lonnie Zamora story was interesting, too; and the Phoenix Lights; and Gordo Cooper was my favorite astronaut...)

That press conference was not official government of course.

The US (and other governments) have been part of the problem rather than part of the solution on this issue for decades.

Just one example—to avoid complying with FOIA and to help provide deniability the USG delegates many highly sensitive UFO related efforts to private contractors.

This is an old practice dating back at least as early as the 1950s—before FOIA even existed.

I am tired of their endless lies and coverups—I don’t even want to hear a word from them anymore.

Congress should go back to doing real work—like demonizing white people.

:-(

Wow. You really take this seriously, don’t you?

If you want to get as cynical as I am, two books would probably do the trick:

https://www.amazon.com/Project-Beta-Bennewitz-National-Security-ebook/dp/B000FCK0KI

The first book describes a true scandal—how the US military used disinformation on UFOs to drive a private citizen insane.

https://www.amazon.com/Managing-Magic-Governments-Disclosure-Plan/dp/1542857694

The second book argues that there is an actual “disclosure plan”, but when you read all the details you realize that for decades private UFO researchers have been sent on endless wild goose (or ET) chases by various government functionaries.

No, I’m not interested in being as cynical as you are (you appear to be cynical about everything).

And I don’t think I’m going to find out the TRUTH about UFOs, or ‘save the world’ from the alien invasion - or save us from government nefariousness, either.

I just like to read and think about what people have seen.

If you want to study and think about this, just stay away from the government.

Very easy.

“you appear to be cynical about everything”

I call them as I see them, and I give fools and vagabonds no quarter, but when I see somebody showing honor and respect and integrity I never hesitate to give them the credit they deserve.

Jack Nicklaus was that man in the recent news:

What do you have against vagabonds?

God does miracles, Angels use technology ... and there are good Angels and bad Angels. With just one more variable of dimension space, our 3D of space could not sense someone with that extra variable, unless they stretch into our limits. (See the fifth chapter of Daniel)
