The term WWIII is meaningless because the economic and demographic conditions that existed in the early 20th Century, that produced the First and Second World Wars, are the mirror opposite of conditions today. Then you had young, high birth rate populations moving from farms to cities. Today you have urbanized, rapidly aging populations with low birth rates. In WWII, the Soviets just threw wave of young men into battle. Today, their problem is they don't have enough soldiers. We don't have the world squaring off into two sides. We have Russia against everyone else and China not giving Russia the help they thought they would get.
