Rhode Island Democrats have introduced a bill that would double the state income tax for residents who have unvaccinated children.
Yes, really.
State Senator Samuel Bell (D) submitted the punitive bill last month, which orders all Rhode Island residents and taxpayers over 16 years old to receive the COVID-19 injection and boosters mandated by the state’s director of the department of health.
Anybody who violates that order “shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes” to the state.
This act would mandate all residents sixteen (16) years or older to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If a resident is under sixteen (16) years of age the resident would be required to be immunized against COVID-19, with the responsibility for ensuring compliance falling on all parents or guardians with medical consent powers.
Additionally any person who violates this chapter would be required to pay a monthly civil penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00) and would owe twice the amount of personal income taxes.

It would appear Samuel Bell needs a severe bitch slapping.
To be followed by the classic “Your papers, bitte” and “Untermenschen must have/wear identifiable markings”!
Any questions that the democrats think the tax code is a weapon to punish your enemy and reward your friends?
Taxation without vaccination?
Democrats are monsters and Obama is their king.
I don’t think this would pass muster with the US Constitution. It’s like Biden wanting to force all doctors to perform abortions. It’s just not Constitutional.
Great, just what we need. More yankees moving to Florida to escape stupid schit like this.
One wonders how many of them are vaxxed, how old they are, what their comorbiditites are, how sick they actually are, if the test results are even accurate, and if they are hospitalized FROM Covid rather than WITH Covid.
Just to start.
It rhymes…
I already have a "Let's Go Brandon" T-shirt. I want to compliment it with an armband that has a capital "U" in a circle with a diagonal bar crossing the "U" - unvaccinated.
There’s probably a few on here that would support that.
Where do they come up with this sh**?
I wonder what district he is in. Maybe he’ll be defeated this year...
well the real problem is that the total population of Rhode Island is like 72 or so. 66 is a pretty high percentage!
Really, its estimated to be 1,062,583, so that tells you what kind of power hungry lunatics are in the state legislature.
So doing the math, that means 1 (ONE) out of every 16,100 people in the state is hospitalized, somehow connected to a Covid diagnosis.
Or, if I did the math right, .006 percent of the population.
A little common sense would go a long way in dealing with this current non-threat.
Gestapo/SS tactics…
Also, I suspect there is a heavy pro-vaccination bias regarding treatment decisions, including the decision to hospitalize, etc..
In other words, if health care administrators and hospital treatment protocols are biased to consider those unvaccinated to be more at risk than those vaccinated with comparable symptoms, then it would follow that a disproportional number of unvaccinated people would be receiving treatment, or would be hospitalized.
Thus, statistics comparing the two groups would be skewed, so that it appeared that more unvaccinated people “required” treatment or hospitalization.
Bill of Attainder. Unconstitutional.
