Success for U.S. is: having an American Air Force Base in northern Ukraine. Our jets and nukes will be that much closer to Minsk & Moscow

Is the U.S./international community not interested in a ceasefire or negotiations ?

Haven’t heard a word about it.

Seems like the U.S. is planning to continue this war.

The US and UK have told Zelensky not to offer any concessions at all. I think both are happy to fight down to the last Ukrainian

Putin is not interested in a ceasefire. He wants something, anything…even a participation trophy for his victory day celebrations next month. So far he has zip. Maybe Zelensky should offer to donate a village in the far eastern side so Putin will call off his failing forces. But I don’t know he wants to do that.

You’re exactly right.

The Military Industrial Complex is licking it’s chops.

Do not sweat the small stuff, bro. If Biden forgives student loan debt it will be roughly 85% of $1.7T, or $1,445,000,000,000 transferred onto the backs of taxpayers after being lifted off the backs of student/borrowers. Now that's real money.

All this will do is insure a lot more Ukrainians are killed and a lot more of the country is destroyed. The Ukrainians cannot defeat Russia.

One Uke can beat ten Russkies in a battle—The Ukrainians are supermen—a magnificent warrior class who can beat anything Russia can toss at them. Russians have proven themselves to be whimps—I am curious how they won in Syria? Why are we afraid of them? I bet their Rockets can not work ad their nukes all duds. Their whole navy no match for Uke coastal rockets. Their airplanes—even if old, can fly circle around the Russian air force. Ukraine can fight for freedom for one hundred years. Maybe we should give them our whole fleet of F-22 and a wing of B-2s—to flatten Moscow. and end the Russian menace forever. Then they can take out Hungary too and Serbia. Then Ukraine can take on China. No stopping these heroes!

At the moment the Ukrainians substantially outnumber the Russians, or at least those Russians deployable in Ukraine.

Until such a time as the Russians are willing to treat this as a total war and mobilize all their reservists, that will not change.

That may or may not allow the Ukrainians to go on the offensive and reclaim their lost territories. Western military aid helps to that end, also the relative obsolescence of Russian materiel and the so far poor standard of operational ability the Russians have displayed.

At the moment the war is quite even in terms of balance of forces, notwithstanding the Russian Air Force, which is also performing poorly, given its (on paper) overwhelming numbers. Its up to the Russians to decide whether they are sufficiently politically committed to go to the next level.

and besides, Hunter will broker this deal. He has a LOT of experience in Ukraine and he’ll make sure “the big guy” gets his 10% kick back.

The Euro military industrial complex is indeed licking its chops. They have received a rush of orders, not for Ukraine (or not much, in the grand scheme of things), but for rearming NATO.
