Except the Southern Tier of Upstate NY, along the Southern Tier Expressway, through Corning etc.
It’s breathtaking even in the summer.
And speaking of Corning, the Corning Museum of Glass is right off the interstate and worth the stop.
We went there when we were kids. Also the Rock of Ages Granite Museum and Quarry Tour in Vermont. Fort Ticonderoga was also nice. Fort Niagara gives the Canadian side of the story. We went to some flume place in the Adirondacks. Don't know if that was Au Sable Chasm. It was all a long time ago.
