If you've got a gut feeling that your rulers are working to control your perception of the war in Ukraine, it is safe to trust that feeling.
If you feel like there's been a concerted effort from the most powerful government and media institutions in the western world to manipulate your understanding of what's going on with this war, it's because that's exactly what has been happening.
If you can't recall ever seeing such intense mass media spin about a war before, it's because you haven't.
If you get the distinct impression that this may be the most aggressively perception-managed and psyop-intensive war in human history, it's because it is.
If it looks like Silicon Valley platforms are controlling the content that people see to give them a perspective on this war that is wildly biased in favor of the US narrative, it's because that is indeed the case.
There were ways to negotiate a peace, but Sir Robenette wanted war.

Both CNN and MSNBC have become a staging ground for the deep state/industrial complex propaganda machine.
Fox was sucked in early but appears to have stepped back as the reality of what caused this war in the first place became clearer.
At times their coverage was like watching a theatrical make believe presentation.
If you don’t swallow the narrative whole, you’re a Putinista (so I’ve been told here)
And of course Russia moving troops towards Finland is a sign of peace
I'm 62. There isn't any large military operation anywhere in my lifetime that I haven't seen media spin. If a Dem is office and supports the war, the media supports it. If a Republican is in office, they're against it or quickly turn against it.
Whether the US position or engagement is correct or not has nothing to do with media support or detraction.
We’re being manipulated on all fronts.

The inhumanity of Putin’s all out assault on the population (not the military) of Ukraine is not “manipulation”. It’s a fact, and it is groundless, unless you think dictators have a right to take over the land of their neighbors.

a) claim Ukraine is a Nazi state
b) claim Ukraine killed 14,000 civilians in the Donbas when the number represents all killed (combatants and civilians) across the line of demarcation since 2014;
c) go on about the "biolabs" the US was "secretly" funding when that funding included Russia and other ex-Soviet states and was publicly discussed at the time funding was approved;
d) claim that Russia was somehow not defeated in its initial attempts to seize the whole country;
e) claim that NATO promised not to expand eastward when there were only verbal assurances that no permanent stationing of out-of-area troops would take place and forget to mention Russia's violation of INF and Conventional Forces Europe treaties.
I've seen many variations of all this nonsense since the war started. I understand that many are disappointed that the war is being used by the Biden regime and its allies in the media to distract from the more pressing issue of the illegitimate regime in the US. I just ask that you consider that this is also the perfect moment for America's foreign enemies to attack, and that doesn't make them any less adversaries of the US. It's quite possible for the same arsonists in the Dem party to set both your front and back porches on fire.
Yes, we are being manipulated. We are being manipulated by both sides.
The pro-Russian crowd tells us that Ukraine is full of Nazis, and Putin is doing Ukraine and the world a favor by cleaning them out.
The pro-Ukraine crowd tells us that Putin had absolutely no reason to fear NATO’s relentless march eastward.
It’s kinda like the vaccine situation. There are folks of good will who happen to disagree. But each side also has its share of liars and con men.
I am far more concerned about the invasion of the USA.
The same Bush League Republicans that want war with Russia over Ukraine are the same ones who have been keeping the border open for 30 years.
Ukraine doesn’t matter at all when we no longer have a country.
Wish Trump was still President. When Carter, Obama and now Biden are president sorry @ss Putin does his westward expansion. Need a Republican back in the White House to tell Russia to get out of Dodge
