Before it was “we want to be able to come out of the closet”
But now its “we want to shout it from the rooftops, and jail you for disagreeing, and get you fired from your jobs, and teach it to your kids.”
That was as slippery of a slope as I’ve ever seen.

AND, “come join us”
Those of us who said it was really “we want to shout it from the rooftops, and jail you for disagreeing, and get you fired from your jobs, and teach it to your kids” were shouted down.
We were right.
It doesn’t seem to matter.
