The article skips over the point that "science" slipped all-too-easily into fascism, i,e., the head of a hospital said "We should protect the vaccinated people of the city of Salem from the unvaccinated," he determined. "And we should make it difficult for unvaccinated people to interact with vaccinated people."

And this was for a bug with a case fatality rate around 1.2%, not an Ebola-like 90%+.

Americans used to pride themselves on a live-and-let-live approach. That sentiment got trashed over the past 2 years...indeed, the weaponization of "shame" via families, friends, neighbors, and congregations has torn apart these segments...grandparents aren't allowed to see grandkids without vaxx papers, childhood friends can't play together because Karen the Mom demands masks, and so on.

Why, it's almost like it was DESIGNED to work out this way.

If people won't fight to have total autonomy over their own bodies than I fail to see the need for laws against assault or rape.

The very silly article is a book shill. The bottom of the article reads:

"(Adapted from The Shame Machine: Who Profits in the New Age of Humiliation, published this month by Crown, an imprint of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House LLC. Copyright 2022 by Cathy O'Neil.)"

Fat-shamed O'Neill is no proponent of reducing shame. Rather she stokes it. Such social bravery. Such marketing. Such hypocrisy.

As to the website which printed this malarkey, BusinessWorld Online Corp. is registered in and operates out of Quezon City, in Manila, the Phillippines.

The seemingly simple phrase -- vaccine-hestiant -- is a mirror tactic of the other Leftist-fascist language games. Climate denier. Systematic racist. White privilege. Spreader of disinformation. Toxic masculinity. Misgendering. And more.

Such language is not your friend.

As doodleBob himself testifies, "Reason is your friend."

Those who didn’t take the trouble to get vaccinated, it could be argued, were lazy, selfish, and ignorant.

How about those who had chi-com 19 and so were naturally 'vaccinated' probably were more resistant to another round of chi-com 19-20-21 etal?

How about those that examined the benefits vs the risk, did a cost/benefit analysis and made a cogent decision to not get a shot that was not a vaccination, but was just another version of an annual flu shot.

Every flu season we are railed to get a flu shot, some do, some don't but it is never called a flu vaccination.

Until chi-com 19, a vaccination was a permanent solution to a deadly disease e.g. polio, small pox etc. and one for LIFE was what made it a vaccination, not a regular, semi-annual trip for another 'so called' vaccination.

Oh wait, I'm not a biologist, but I know about XX and XY chromosomes and my wife is a woman and a mother, and no matter how much I might want to give birth, the best I can do, is provide the starter fuel, but I am so lazy and selfish and ignorant {it could be argued}.

That's it. After seeing a young man in the grocery yesterday wearing a respirator mask - and now this blather - I'm ordering a red, MAGA-like hat which states "UNVAXXED" and I'm prepared to deliver physical discomfort to complement the mental anxiety should a protagonist expose him/it/herself.

Unvaxxed Hat, Unvaccinated Hat, Embroidered Flat Bill Cap

And having a t-shirt made:

“...people refuse vaccines that can save their lives and help protect their friends and loved ones?”

This is the basis of shaming and never was true. The jab did not prevent the spread of the virus between vaccinated individuals. The unvaccinated were wrongly blamed. Not to mention that those who recovered from the virus developed natural immunity.

ps

Masks don’t prevent the spread either.

Hey Cathy, why did so many Liberal enclaves recently lift their vax mandates?

I thought every single unvaxxed person needed to be vaxxed, or else we’re gonna create endless dangerous variants, and we’re never ever gonna get back to normal?

I live in a big city which recently lifted its vax requirements for restaurants, concerts, sporting events. I’m not vaxxed and I never wear a mask. So go ask all the super left wing mayors and governors of blue States and blue cities why I no longer pose a danger to people? Could it have something to do with mid term elections coming up and abysmal poll numbers for Democrats?

Why would so many otherwise intelligent people refuse vaccines that can save their lives and help protect their friends and loved ones?

If they broke this horrendous statement down into it's component propositions they would discover that every single one of them is either factually unsupported or demonstrably false.

And it starts with an ad hominem, a value judgement about otherwise intelligent people to beat the unwary over the head with. Come on, show us you are as intelligent as we know you are. Get on the bandwagon and prove you are a dumbs4it.

"science"

I know how to "listen to the science." I listen to the people who follow "the science" and do what they tell me to do.

Anyone can do it.

Thanks to backstabbing doctors, the entire hospital industry will fall as nobody wants to go to the hospital anymore. You all sold your soul for nothing.

I could see taking this position a year ago, when there was still a chance the vaccines might be successful.

But they were a complete and total failure by any measure.

This is akin to bank robbers learning ahead of time that the vault is empty, but then proceeding with the risky bank robbery anyway.

They have no better means of convincing me to take the vax than shaming me into it?

They’ll need to come up with something of with more substance. Like, “It works and has no serious side effects and if something goes wrong, I will be recompensed for damages.”

A vaccine which neither prevents infection nor prevents spreading and can have serious side effects is useless. Masks short of full respirators are equally useless.
