Which states are trying to change daylight saving time?
In the last four years, 18 states have enacted legislation or resolutions to keep residents on year-round daylight saving time, pending Congressional approval. In some cases, the legislation stipulates that neighboring states enact similar legislation.
These states have already enacted legislation or resolutions to adhere to year-round daylight saving time:
Alabama California (authorized by voters, not yet enacted) Delaware Florida Georgia Idaho Louisiana Maine Minnesota Mississippi Montana Ohio Oregon South Carolina Tennessee Utah Washington Wyoming This year alone, nearly 30 states are considering legislation regarding daylight saving time, according to the NCSL.
Going to all DST is gay.
We actually VOTED to do this and the assembly for some idiotic reason voted it down.

Keep the time on DST. Changing clocks twice a year is idiotic and disruptive.
It kills people, traffic accidents from lack of sleep. Not that politicians care.
If we want too get rid of all of this, we should move it to 30 minutes or halfway and leave it there. So it’s not too dark at that time, early in the morning or late in the evening
Here’s a novel idea.
Make sun time year around.
I’m a month younger than sand, and it was a stupid idea from day one. The Farmers needed it, so they said, and then the pols got ahold of it, and ran with it.
Make it year ‘round.
Just Do It.
I think the change has been slowed by congressmen who think their constituents are going to Freak Out and immediately try to recall that congressman from office.
Any protest is likely to be very small.
The original reasons are now diminished.
This is a wise and doable choice.

That will put us +30 with most of the world.
I remember we had a “lit” world map in the SCIF I worked. It was actually lit wherever the Sun was up...pretty cool.
Anyway I think one country was +30 and some a-hole country was +45.
Yeah, that happens ALL THE TIME north of the Oregon/California border. Every single day! It’s a massacre!
It also happens on the way TO school as well, north of the 52nd parallel!

The weak argument posed is as insular and provincial as anything I’ve heard come from the press.
It would be nice to have one time and not change it twice a year.
We could be like China and have one time zone for the entire country.
Arizona doesn’t do daylight savings time. It never made sense to me.
