This is a pretty harmless combination of NAC and glycine, an amino acid. Glycine is cheapest in powder form, but is available in capsules, like NAC.
GlyNAC is just equal parts glycine and NAC, from what I’ve previously found.

The “Take Charge Of Your Health” Ping List
This potentially high volume ping list is for health articles and studies which describe something you or your doctor, when informed, may be able to implement for your benefit.
Now keeping a new list for conditions expected to concern at least 1% of the population. Ask to be on either the “Common Issues” or “Everything” list.
Please email or private message me if you want on or off of a list and of which list you desire.

Thanks so much for posting these articles about health and nutrition.
Some of this information has been very useful for me in figuring out what is a trigger for my food allergies.

If you’re having trouble finding NAC, try searching for n-acetyl cystine.
Also avoid Amazon. The FDA has been leaning on NAC distributors lately and Amazon responded by limiting sales. There’s only a few left selling at absurd prices.
I like Now brand from VitaCost.
NAC is also great at preventing progression of respiratory illnesses.

I’m reading that its better to take serine than glycine. why? because serine converts into glycine—but during the conversion process also ejects some methylation molecules that further drive metabolism.

Now I feel better. I take NAC regularly (usually 600mg/day, but 1200 or more if I am sick) and add TMG (trimethyl glycine) to my coffee every day. Wife’s gonna be stuck with me for a while.
