Steven Seagal was a big deal Aikido master. Akido is considered a joke today. Aikido master will lose all matches against Brazilian Jujitsu and MMA. You can see the YouTube videos.
But I was impressed by Steven Seagal Aikido back in the day AND his first three movies were very good.

'I look at both as one family and really believe it is an outside entity spending huge sums of money on propaganda to provoke the two countries to be at odds with each other. Don't remember any one saying Steven Seagal was smart.
