He sure didn’t care for Trump, but he was a huge influence on me growing up.

He was one of the first really good conservative writers I was exposed to. Brilliant in a target rich environment.

His sense of humor was equalled only by Rush. I believe he had been fighting cancer for some time. RIP.

In a battle of wits, he was exceptionally well armed and capable. I’ll miss him.

Don’t remember the exact quote but he once said the reason the death penalty doesn’t work is because it doesn’t get implemented nearly often enough.

I remember him from the National Lampoon days. Before anyone was calling him conservative. Hard to believe that was almost 50 years ago.

To: PallMal
After starting off hot he rolled off into irrelevance for the last decade or so.

Loved Holidays in Hell. Not sure what happened to him lately though.

I remember his wit at The American Spectator. I actually thought he passed a long time ago.

Noooo! Republican Party Reptile...Eat the Rich...Give War a Chance...and my all time favorite, Holidays in Hell. Loved that guy’s writing back in the 80s! Thanks, PJ...you helped define my cynical youth!
