The young draftees(instant millionaires) are too naive and ill informed to know they’re being taken to the cleaners right off the bat. A wedge to be driven in between the lefties and the ‘nouveau rich’, most of whom are black btw.

The NFL Competition committee meets every year and knows this is unfair. Perhaps a salary cap ‘curve’ would allow some teams to raise their cap. NY and Ca. have 3 teams each. But then it doesn’t effect management so they could care less.

NFL meetings start March 27 btw.

They DO know they’re being taken to the cleaners. The problem is they have no choice. They’re stuck with the team that drafted them.

Every NFL team should rent an office in Florida or Texas and call it their HQ.

It's not quite as unfair as it may seem.

New York City and Los Angeles are two of the largest metro areas in the U.S. For some sports, professional athletes can get much bigger endorsement deals in these major cities than they can in places like Jacksonville or Tampa.
