Complete blockage may not be necessary.

The crossing times update is well out of date by their posted benchmarks (an update at least every hour) for BWB and Coutts.

I could be wrong, but this very well may mean that the times are getting worse at both points.

While Sault wasn’t updated for a while it is now back up—I wonder if things are getting touch and go up there. If BWB is too much of a pain, that is the next logical crossing if one doesn’t want to head to Buffalo.

The extra costs in fuel to cross at Sault or all the way around to Buffalo will cause quite the stir because shippers or receivers won't want to pay.

Getting PARS with updated crossing points , date and times must now be quite the task.
The system has to be overloaded.
