I totally agree! I have been the recipient of blood transfusions, and I don’t even want to think about having tainted blood piped into me.
I don’t know if it’s nationwide, but I DO know that there is a blood shortage in my area. Our local blood bank has been beating the drums for donors.
It sounds like they are thinking about relaxing the standards, maybe?
I just thought of this: all of those people coming across our southern border-
it’s another way for them to make a few extra bucks periodically.

“Blood shortages” are largely staged because blood banks are businesses; they need blood to make money. Don’t believe the fake narrative.
I'll sell 'em a couple of pints of PUREBLOOD. But they have to guarantee that if I ever need a transfusion, it will be from unvaxxed veins.
Long time ago I donated blood for a surgery my mom was having and was there if she needed more. She needed none of it. I used to donate often at work site drives. Unfortunately can’t donate since 2007. lymphoma is a permanent ban.
