Not that dual-floppies was much better....
Agreed. I grumbled heavily when I got the Borland C+ compiler, which was my first programming language that was too large to fit onto floppy disks, and I had to spend money to buy a hard drive. It was a whopping 50 MB! LOL
It still took a while to boot up, but from then on floppy disks were just backups or if I needed to boot in a different OS.
For a while I had 3 OS choices and two of them were on the hard drive. LOL
