I know I've seen article titles saying China had some access to DNA from American Covid tests (never got around to reading the articles about it) but I think this is the first time I've seen US goverment running Covid test DNA through crime database(s). The Covid test was performed in Scotland and then he was located in a database with US crimes? Hmmm...
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled RI Man Faked 2020 Death to Avoid Criminal Charges, Found Alive in Scotland Hospital With COVID, Officials Say, Auntie Mame wrote: This man's dna was taken while he was in the hospital in Scotland for covid. His dna (obtained via covid test) was entered into a database where they found he was wanted in the US. He had faked his death in the US because of crimes he supposedly committed and moved to Scotland, changing his name. The article intimates his relatives may have helped him by telling the authorities of his demise. He is wanted in Utah and Ohio for fraud. but also lived in Rhode Island where he was a long-time advocate for child welfare reform. His "death" was reported in several news outlets there. The takeaway for me is they are entering our dna into databases directly from hospitals.
