Thank you for saying that about Being There. I saw it in the 1990’s on TV and couldn’t understand why everyone made such a fuss about it. I realized then that I had no appreciation for cinematic “art” and stopped going to movies, except when I had a craving for overpriced theatre popcorn or I was taking a bunch of kids to a movie.
Wasn’t Forrest Gump the same kind of movie - one where the protagonist is held up by the world as a genius when he can barely get his shoes on the right feet? I didn’t see that one either. Maybe both movies were intended to be previews of the current pResident.
Exactly.
AshliBabbitt desperately tried to prevent rioters from vandalizing the doors leading to the Speaker’s Lobby at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, even stepping between a troublemaker and #Police officers guarding the doors, according to video analysis.
If true, she was shot because she was trying to STOP Antifa.
Thank you all for your continued well wishes and condolences.
I am sorry, but I just haven’t had time to respond to Freepmails.
My aunt continues to improve in some areas, such as her oxygen level returning to normal quicker after doing her exercises, which she is doing.
Her blood sugar levels have been erratic, due to steroids, we are guessing.
She is coughing a bit more, but it may be coughing up gunk. She’s taking Mucinex, as am I.
My eyes feels gunky. I still have that yucky taste in my mouth and my sense of smell is diminished. I did get more sleep last night after taking an Advil Pm and then later a Benadryl after some CBD oil that has melatonin. I think I will skip the Advil PM. It did work one night when I took it later in the evening, after the melatonin and CBD didn’t work.
Most inspiring. ThanQ for posting that.
If true, [Ashli Babbit] was shot because she was trying to STOP Antifa.

WOW! Unbelievable ... but not really. I’m sick to nearly death of all the liars and their supporting cast gaslighting us continually.
SLIDE
The DH likes to periodically tee up on the TV movies he thinks we would like. Unfortunately, he is taken in by how many Oscars and such a movie gets. That stupid movie was one such and a waste of time. Saw “Forrest Gump” at the movie theater. Don’t know why. Another waste of my time.
We usually average a movie-theater movie about once every 5 years. Most just do not interest us.
I am a miserable failure in a trivia game if the subject is movies, TV, or celebrities.

Yes, that’s me too. I saw Absolute Power in the theatre when it came out (popcorn craving). I liked that movie. Then I saw Ferngully with a bunch of kids in a rerun/classic movie house at the turn of the century. That was a good one as cartoons go (loved Batty Koda). After that was Trouble with the Curve for popcorn. That was a nice surprise and I really liked that one. And the last one was Bohemian Rhapsody - most excellent.
I have no idea what movies get nominated for awards, nor do I know what movies win. That was always an unreliable indicator of whether or not I’d enjoy it so it’s not a consideration. You and I will cover the other categories in Trivial Pursuit.
