Humor in the work place can easily be misconstrued these days.

Be very careful joking around hypersensitive people. They are always looking for “perceived slights”.

Its a shame that good natured, innocent humor is becoming a potentially career ending thing.

Just saying.

I work with employers and owners every day. They are scared sh*tless an employee will make a racial/gay anti woke mistake and the company will be sued and dragged through the courts.

Many are now using outside companies to hire new employees. They do not meet the new hire until the last few interviews to give final go ahead. The hiring company weeds out potential bad apples. That is sad.

For example, how do we know what gender identity Herman, the Office Spider, has?

Actually working in a sort of laid-back office, but there is bullying that goes on, and there is not much that is humorous or enjoyable about being at work. Just sayin’

Used to work with a guy that had two nicknames: “Fliptop” because of his combover that would flip over outside in the wind, and “HalfMoon”, due to the trouser malfunction when he would stoop down to pick up a tool.
