Big whoop. She’s a teenager and subject to a lot of peer pressure. It’d be crazy to think that a kid that age would totally rebel against her social group.
For cryin’ out loud, she’s 13 years old, virtually no life experience, and no education to speak of.
Why anyone should care what a 13 year old thinks about pretty much anything is a testament to how ridiculous public discourse has become. Of those 13 years on the planet, how many of those have been spent seriously weighing issues and cogitating? Further, that isn’t what 13 year olds should be doing anyway.
Yeah, she’s trying to negotiate with a mob of jackals. It won’t work, and she shouldn’t even try.
One of the failures of the internet age - 13 year olds are too young to vote, drive a car, purchase alcohol, tobacco, or firearms, own real estate, enter into binding contracts, consent to sex, etc etc etc, but they are allowed on the internet. At one level, that’s insane, if you stop and think about it.
We’ve got a challenge ourselves and firmly believe that kids should NOT be on any social media of any type. Period.
Yes, and Lyn’ Ted has some skeletons to eventually address. I cannot forget the cringeworthy picture of him and his daughter.
As this shows, conservative parents are no guarantee of conservative children.
It would be news if a 13-year old agreed with her parents. About anything.
Because everyone knows that 13 year old girls are the most reasonable people in the world.

Give her a break, ppl. She is 13 years old. She is supposed to know everything.
Make sure they receive appropriate education. Monitor each time they use the internet. Ban social media until they turn 18.
My son is only 19, he’s already far more conservative than his schoolmates. He develops his own opinions and we sometimes discuss how he arrives at them. Since he arrives at his own opinions in his own way, he finds it far easier to hold to them than if his opinions were delivered to him.
Here’s hoping they at least made her a liberal until she gets her first paycheck stub ( and can understand it ).
You know, I gotta say...
If you’re a parent/grandparent/godparent/stepparent/whatever who’s actively involved in raising a kid in this era... and said kid is NOT some sort of woke idiot gleans her opinions from TikTok and fancies herself some variant of LGBT, props to you. You’re doing something that seems to elude a lot of other fine folks including, apparently, Ted Cruz.
The old “Preacher’s daughter/Cop’s son” problem.
2 weeks of Rush Limbaugh reruns can cure this.

That’s not the case, and that’s not the point. She should not have a TikTok account at age 13, just for starters.
