Trespassing is not “polite”.
I am of the opinion that this whole thing is overblown.
Neighbor does not like the noise, so she goes over and asks them to quit down - normal.
Neighbor gets asked to leave. Neighbor leaves - normal
Some people get their feelings hurt - normal
No punches were thrown, not gun shots, not injuries or arrests. Back to the old saying “No blood, no foul”.
Lakers announcer, the late Chick Hearn would say, “No harm, no foul, no blood, no ambulance.”

What’s happening is that hispanics are rapidly becoming conservatives. It’s awesome to behold. I am the token non hispanic in my work group. They are gun loving, patriotic, pro life, church going family men. (granted they are all ex-military).
We had the same situation with former Hispanic neighbors. They would blast loud music near midnight 100 feet from our bedroom window.We would simply text and politely ask them to turn it down, and they usually did.
It’s easier to love your enemies than your neighbors.
Well, in the summer my neighbor literally has a 3 day and night party celebrate some event in his family. I didn’t ask what it was.
Live bands playing all night long was an indication it was something huge in their lives but honestly he had them playing in the garage with the door open right below my bedroom.
Shook my entire house when they were playing.
I knew it was important and just handed out ear plugs to my family members.
I was enjoying the thought of other neighbor Karen’s loosing their minds.
Yeah, for Chicago, any interpersonal interaction that doesn’t result in 3 shot dead is Emily Post-style manners.
The older woman obviously was new area and did not understand Chicago ways. Normally, Chicagoans just roam into noisy parties, gun down 14 or so, and run out with the panicked herd.
The most surprising part of this story is she didn’t get shot.
We have noise ordinances where I live. No loud noise after 11pm and before 10am. These people probably didn’t hear the polite knock at the door. Some people don’t understand limits or how to know when something becomes too much. One time some guy across the street was blowing off fireworks, mortars and the like in the wee hours of the morning. He just kept going at it. It was a birthday party, not 4th of July when people are more tolerant of it. The police finally showed up and he ended up getting a $300 ticket. He was pissed at the neighbors because somebody called the police (wasn’t us). What an idiot.
My experience is similar. Setting off fireworks on Christmas Eve makes no sense to me, either.

Exactly. Many are making this out to be a big blow out party, when the video doesn’t show that at all. Rather, this is a perfect example of the liberal vagina hat wearing control freak women attempting to order people around. I’ve had it with these types.
Some are, most of the young ones however are nothing but worthless, lazy and woke dummies.
I know, I’m Hispanic.
