Of the eight approved or authorized antibodies, all but sotrovimab completely or almost completely lost their neutralizing activity against the Omicron pseudovirus. A cocktail of cilgavimab and tixagevimab had a reduced potency of 200-fold. Sotrovimab, conversely, shows a drop of 3-fold drop in neutralization potency.

Of course pharmaceutical companies are already working on new monoclonal antibody treatments. But this resistance is a good reason to take steps to avoid exposure to Omicron during its initial surge.
And just like that, it won’t be available to the general public. They will ration it to the VIP’s.
If these selected monoclonal antibodies don’t work very well or at all against omicron, why should we believe that the boosters do? Isn’t their job to trick the body into making antibodies for the original spike protein?
This is the title of the article:
How Omicron Evades Natural Immunity, Vaccination, And Monoclonal Antibody Treatments
So did the government, pharmaceuticals, medical find a more efficient method of killing people ? How much does government pay out for each death ?
“How Omicron Evades Natural Immunity, Vaccination, And Monoclonal Antibody Treatments”
So does the common cold.
The title in the post needs to be changed.
Do we want something that works against Omicron?
Agree.
So according to the title nothing, natural immunity, the vax, or monoclonal antibodies is effective.
I’ll continue to take 4000 iu of Vitamin D3, daily.
By the same dude...
SNORT.
Covid hoax alert, we all live and we all die. If we don’t take foreign substances into our body from pharma, we will live longer. Eat well, take vitamins, minerals and follow the protocols that are all over the internet. It will save more people than the fake vaccines.
The only thing developed that I would take is the monoclonal antibody treatment, the vaxx...no bueno.
When did they test these treatments on the so called Omicron varient for efficacy, and safety? This so called version has been around for all of 14 days.
In vitro lab testing started right away. Other insights can be gained from modelling.
Sotrovimab is a GlaxoSmithKline product for those who don’t know.
Says who? Where’s the proof there even is Omicron? The scam thickens. 🙄

this “study” based on a test-tube pseudovirus assay for “testing” the various available covid monoclonal antibody treatments against a PSEUDOVIRUS, so who knows if and how much it may be meaningful in vivo (actual infected folks receiving said treatments)against actual omicron infections being treated ...
nonetheless, FAR, FAR left Forbes pumps this up into a great big HUGE scare-mongering article, a la, we’re all doomed unless we all do exactly what dementia joe orders us all to do ...
The Forbes article is not the only source for this information.
My next door neighbor died of COVID (Delta) at the end of October after being on a ventilator for two months. Her daughter got sick at the same time but received monoclonal antibodies. She believes they saved her life. Mother and daughter weren’t vaccinated. The father was vaccinated, due to serious heart problems. He tested positive but felt no symptoms. I am well aware this is just an anecdote and does not prove anything. Please just factor it into your own experience when you make decisions.
You are right about the title. I wanted to emphasize the part about monoclonal antibodies because it was the only information new to me, but that was misleading.
