I think Republicans can receive mail in ballots, and will generally return them in a lawful and proper manner.
And I think Democrats will generally return them in an illegal and cheating manner.
It comes down to the question: Do we think Democrats cheat? I say they do. And I think mail in ballots help them cheat.
