Finding out that not much works for voles. Trying a product called Volex but not holding my breath. Tracking powders look promising provided they walk through it and groom but powders are hard to come by. Thinking about getting a car battery, putting two rods in the ground and picking them off with a pellet gun. I know they have rodent systems that puts propane and oxygen in the hole, ignites and instantly kills but can't find anyone in my area that does that. Not sure I want to go that route either since it's a neighborhood.
Putting down like a poison or putting down, getting wet & igniting? Thank you.
Turns out there was a feral cat who would come along and take the voles out of the traps and eat them........LOL!
I’ve tried the gas sticks for moles and they didn’t work. I’ll add it to my list of things to try. Thank you.
Little honey some oatmeal and a tiny bit of chocolate in a jar on its side. The honey gets on them and they get stuck. You find them dead.
Put a few pellets in the hole and add a little water and it makes a gas that drives them away. Read the reviews at the link. They can explain it better.

Here is a video on setting them https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=No-Mol+Mole+Trap+video&docid=608035956182158897&mid=B987680A223AA0E777DBB987680A223AA0E777DB&view=detail&FORM=VIRE
Watch Caddyshack for ideas.
bump
Get a cat.
I have heard people having good luck adding a flex tube to the exhaust of a mower or generator and putting the hose down the holes.
I tried that years ago with a car and a hose on moles but it didn’t work. I had bought a device that fit over the tailpipe and it had a fastener. It fed to a hose coupler that you could attach your garden hose to. A mower would prolly be better but not sure how to transfer the exhaust to a hose. Thank you.
Your cannon I missing its trigger/igniter. I think I have some “Bangsite” around here somewhere.
“Bangsite” — LOL, I forgot about their name for it. What a great brand name.
Preferable one named Foo-Foo.
(Let's see who gets it)
Hopping through the forest
Picking up the field mice
Bopping them on the head.
My niece came home from school and told me FooFoo was now kissing the mice on the head. Her teacher thought that bopping was to violent.
I called the teacher and asked why the good fairy was so upset. Were the mice being sexually harassed by bunnies? And did she really think that was an appropriate song for kindergartners?
The next week the bunny was behaving normally again.
I’ve seen my Rat Terrier dig up 25’ of vole trail to snatch one from the ground.
