Dr. Oz for Senate-I'm' Intrigued'

Posted on 12/01/2021 6:58:05 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

Well known but his real political positions aren't. If he gets nominated we will be doing what the democrats do: putting up our pretty boy against theirs(Lamb). Pennsylvania will be difficult to keep. The more well known the better our chances. The worst he can do as a senator is stab us in the back like Toomey. Like JD Vance I think we'll have to take our chances. I sent JD Vance a few bucks. This guy needs none. Celebrities need the limelight. It's their job to make sure the money is there.

What do we have to lose? Suburban housewives were lost already.

In the early days of Covid, Oz expressed skepticism of the numbers. He sounded like he sniffed a scamdemic.

He was supposedly working on some sort of in-depth study of medical charts of people listed as having died of Covid in order to determine if they were people who were likely to die within the year anyway.

I don’t know what happened to this.

If he runs on a platform of Covid having been scamdemic, I will gladly give him a hundred bucks, for he will have done something few had the courage to do.

Republicans need the senate control. If he’s a placeholder until a better candidate is found, so be it. We feel the same about Romney.

My husband is a native Pennsylvanian. He can’t stand the Oz guy.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/07/media/dr-oz-trump-coronavirus/index.html

"In contrast to the other doctors on Fox News, Oz is one of the nation's most recognized physicians and commands a sizable following, making him a powerful potential ally for Trump. Oz, who is an advocate of alternative medicines and treatments, rose to television fame after serving for years as Oprah Winfrey's medical expert. In 2009, he parlayed those segments into a show of his own, "The Dr. Oz Show," which has been on air for 10 seasons and won a number of daytime Emmy awards. Now Oz has become one of the most passionate and prominent backers of using hydroxychloroquine to fight coronavirus -- despite the lack of firm scientific evidence that it is an effective treatment."

Well this could be something..

Not me.

IF he was working on an expose', and no one heard about it since, I'd surmise he got scared off ... probably by the threat of cancellation.

What kind of politician does THAT make ?

I only see him when channel surfing. Your husband can see through the glitz and glamour of his job and doesn’t take the bait like women would. If the shoe fits...

Democrats are more likely to nominate Fetterman than Lamb.

My understanding is that he lives in NJ and voted in PA using his in-laws' address.

*IF* that is true, avoid him. We don't need voter fraud.

He's a placeholder for at least 6 years.

Is it correct that he would be the first Muslim Senator?

*Democrats are more likely to nominate Fetterman than Lamb* Better for us. Fetterman’s bald and ugly. Frumpy too. Women will go for the guy with hair on top.

*I can’t stand the guy either.* Think BJ/the Kenyan. Tell that to the women. They will call you jealous.

*He’s a placeholder for at least 6 years.* Fine. We’re now on to the Toomey’s and Thunes out there.

Muslim? Not a show stopper.

Even starting to investigate would make him better than many politicians.

I am not convinced, at all. I watched Hannity last night, which I rarely do, just see what Oz had to say. He came off to me with a bunch of well researched platitudes that lacked substance. I'd equate it to 'hope and change'. You can hope anything you want - you get to fill in the blank, and get the change you want - you get to fill in the blank. Oz didn't give many specifics.

The acid test for me to vote for my next Senator is will he vote for McConnell as majority leader. The next thing I want to hear out of his mouth is no more debt limit increase. Then he needs to be able to list off the top of his head what parts of government he is going to cut.

Oz does not sound like a fighter. He needs to be able to wage war against RINOs and Democrat/Commies. He sounds like a talk show host that women and weak girly men watch.

Are you kidding? Oz would be a miserable choice.. Don't delude yourself, he is a total liberal. He is already scrubbing his history of lefty positions from his site. He has advocated banning all semi-auto firearms!. Here he is supporting red flag laws:
