I’d expected to see maybe half or 3/4 of the moon covered, but here in SoCal, there was just a tiny sliver of the left edge that was uncovered - almost a total eclipse. Someone said it was during the reign of Henry VI that this type of eclipse was last seen, although I’m not sure what that means.
