Judging by the regular and increasing frequency of calls to my house trying to get my kids to sign up, I would say the US military is having a recruitment problem.

They were having recruitment problems before the Covid vaccine mandate. Only about 30 percent of the eligible cohort can meet standards. Or as my military son says they are “either too stupid, too fat or on drugs.” He and many senior enlisted are getting out as soon as they get their 20. The next 5 years will be a disaster.
