Schools should be explicitly a local issue. I bring up getting rid of public ed elsewhere and people $hit themselves. Too many of the people involved in public ed are predators and degenerates. 50 years ago, almost none of them would’ve been allowed near children.

School is a good place for a service brat to make new friends, after a move to a new base.

Homeschool co-ops and groups are better places for kids in military families to make friends.

Now and then, a military family would join our groups. Some bases have homeschool co-ops and groups, too.
