Has to feel a bit surreal being Asian in the US, as, literally, EVERY attack story you hear in your community is a black attacking an Asian, yet everything in the media you see and hear says that it’s Trump-supporting whites doing the attacking.

The Republicans COULD exploit this, but they still haven’t found anyone who speaks Asian and thus would be able to reach that community.

I'm sure Asian FReepers would concur that it is not Whites attacking Asians. There is another racial group (which will not be named) which is responsible for the violence against Asians. Beside unbridled racism, the unnamed group is devoid of impulse control.

Republicans need to simply show pictures of the victims and the attackers and let the obvious facts speak for themselves.

Speaks Asian???? WTF???

My wife is Chinese, and speaks Mandarin, Shanghaiese, and English. (Yes, the language from Shanghai is a completely separate language, not merely a dialect.) Do you speak White or English?

As for the subject of the article, the only time my wife has felt threatened in the US was in our local grocery store, when a large black man verbally threatened her. (I wasn’t there, so he’s still alive.)

And yet there are a significant number of Asians who still buy the “Republicans are racists” Dem party line.
