A woman was arrested after a brawl with her two sisters at a World of Beer location in The Villages.
Melody Jean Smalley, 24, of Lady Lake, was leaving World of Beer at Brownwood Paddock Square shortly before midnight Saturday when her 27-year-old sister and her 23-year-old sister arrived in the parking lot to give her a ride home, having deemed the middle sister “too drunk to drive,” according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
Smalley became “irate” and pulled her older sister by her hair in an attempt to remove her from the vehicle. The younger sister tried to separate Smalley and the older sister. Smalley grabbed the younger sister by her hair and dragged her to the ground.
During a brief break in the fighting, Smalley got into a car with her younger sister. Smalley suddenly bit her younger sister’s thumb, piercing it with her teeth. She refused to release the sister’s thumb from her teeth. The younger sister began kicking and punching Smalley in an attempt to force her to release her thumb. She was able to push Smalley out of the vehicle, locked the doors and called her older sister who called 911.
Smalley was arrested on two counts of battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.

It's all fun 'n games, until someone's thumb gets bitten through...
Looks kind of Not Guilty to me. Though judging from the eyebrows, she’s not a real blonde.
Oh, Gosh.
And ‘World of Beer’ sounded like a place I’d want to visit...
Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers!
Is the Old folks Villages place in Florida? What were these young wenches doing there?
With patrons like Melody Jean Smalley, I'd like to visit it even more.
Women have come a long way since the days of Carrie Nation.
thanksgiving dinner should be pay-per-view
you don’t think the carpet matches the drapes?
Nope.
I Like Beer
By Tom T. Hall
In some of my songs I have casually mentioned
The fact that I like to drink beer
This little song is more to the point
Roll out the barrel and lend me your ears
I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey’s too rough, Champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer
(He likes beer)
My wife often frowns when we’re out on the town
And I’m wearing a suit and a tie
She’s sipping vermouth and she thinks I’m uncouth
When I yell as the waiter goes by
I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey’s too rough, Champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer
(He likes beer)
Last night I dreamed that I passed from the scene
And I went to a place so sublime
Aw, the water was clear and tasted like beer
Then they turned it all into wine (Awww)
I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)

Sounds like an old SNL skit, (Lorraine Newman, Jane Curtain, Gilda Radner days).
Course Belushi would join in…
I was in love with a girl who drank beer
‘Til bad breath and all she disappeared
She was blowing up real bad
But when she left I was still sad
I was in love with a girl who drank beer

So, where is this exactly?
Asking for a friend.
She needs some pimple cream. I’ve got some.
Shame about the nose ring.
I think you need an upgrade in the ‘taste’ area.
But maybe they’ll start staging chick fights, for a modest entrance fee.
Carrie Nation and her cohort caused us a world of trouble.
