The Houston PD's Chief, Troy Finner, just confirmed what we'd been told ... namely, that at least one person had been injected with something via needle -- and there well may have been more.
Chief Finner said a security guard working the event felt a prick in his neck by an unknown assailant while he was trying to restrain a citizen -- and he quickly fell unconscious. Finner says the guard was revived by use of NARCAN ... and that medical personnel did, indeed, see something on his neck that indicated he'd been stabbed with a syringe.

“A source connected to Astroworld tells TMZ, someone in the crowd went crazy and began injecting people with some sort of drug, which caused panic and then a surge. The source says authorities are trying to determine if those who went into cardiac arrest were the ones injected. We’re told one of those who died is a 10-year-old. The source says it appears to be a targeted attack. We have not confirmed this report, but the source is a key person involved in the festival.”
We don’t really need to be going out that much, do we, party people?
I’m seeing it as showing confidence that the economy is going to bounce right back gets you marked as prey. You know that rap “artist” is going to make his millions one way or another; you don’t need to worry about him.
Does anyone know Fauci’s whereabouts at the time?
Germ war game?
Manchurian bio-terrorist patsy?

Whack job drug addict would be my guess, but if he jabbed several people, then he came with a plan to do it. But, who knows. Weird story.
This is not good.
It’s bad enough that people are attacking each other so frequently but to come up with some new really malicious thing like this is evil to the core.
God only knows what’s in those needles. There’s stuff that can kill very quickly or cause you problems for the rest of your life.
And how do medical personnel even know where to start looking for whatever substance it was and how to counter act it.
IMO, the only solution is to catch the person in the act and give him a good dose of what he’s assaulting others with.

Unless he suddenly starts acting like Captain Crain (David Hedison) boarding the Seaview and sabotaging and trying to kill Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, the worst is past.
Any shouts of the usual kind from the usual suspects?

I hope he’s in a lab with his head locked in a cage of sand flies after his vocal cords were cut.
Mass murder with a syringe?
Was it an A-s-s-ault syringe?
I watched this guy assassinate an informant by stabbing him with a needle in “The Kids Who Knew Too Much” when I was a kid and it had a profound effect on me:

Fentanyl
I think I missed that episode.
A Dexter sort of skill could wreak havoc with just an empty syringe. A cerebral arterial embolism of N2O2 would be deadly. If this Dexter’s aim is off, some other arterial or venous embolism isn’t as serious, but still poses grave danger.
25 arrested following Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston
Reminds me of the case years back around the time of the Undybomber, some Islamic dude at an airport in Africa injected a US official with a syringe.
Here is the incident from 2014...the official was in Lagos about to board a flight for Houston:
