I mean, I long assumed that pharmaceutical companies were peddling dangerous garbage, making bank off the propensity of cowardly hypochondriacs and lazy widebodies to seek their "health" from a pill or a syringe, and now I've had my suspicions in that regard confirmed.
The pharma companies have no more integrity than your typical Colombian drug cartel. If even that much. And they should meet the same fate, as far as I'm concerned.

Novel virus pandemics are inevitable, a fact of life. Just like on the financial front depressions and inflation are inevitable events, except with pandemic it just what nature does.
FDA and CDC have been planning hat to do in case of (any) pandemic, and golly, here comes one now. "We dn;t know how the public will react to ordered lockdown," in one pice from the last 10 or so years. Somewhere on CDC "Pandemic" webpages, where you can read about novel virus pandemics of 1918, 1957, and 1968, as well as lesser pandemics.
What you refer to as jawdroppingly STUPID was planned. The technology for making the vaccine was known before C19 hit the streets in Wuhan. All the technicians need is "the genome," and from that comes the vax.
At the end, thanks for your good post. I just wanted to add that the dugs were going to be made and administered globally - that was the plan 10 years ago, waiting for a novel virus to hit the radar. And what better time than with Trump in office? Make him a zero, and the mandarins can claim to be heros.

Let’s just say that you are correct (and you might be). The spike protein is the most pathogenic part of the virus, according to Dr Malone and Dr McCullough. By my reading, the Novavax is basically spike protein. It suffers from the same deficiency as the others, in that it produces limited immunity AND it still helps to drive variants like the mRNA versions.
It seems similar in that it uses a spike protein, although it’s synthetic, a nanoparticle. Here’s a link to the different shots. Novavax is at bottom.

The public weren’t informed this was gene therapy- they were told it was a vaccine. The word vaccine was used deceptively and purposely.
