I just spent 40 minutes waiting on the phone for the Social Security/medicare people to pick up and give me probably two minutes of their precious time. I had to hang up without talking with anyone as I have another responsibility which must be done.
Let’s see, I can use them at the gas pump for sure. All over the grocery store. Walmart. Sam’s Club.

That’s awful! I was under the impression that the only part of the government that worked was Social Security. They seem to be pretty efficient getting checks out Etc.
I imagine dealing with Medicare can’t be any better than any other insurance. Sounds like they’re pretty bad to get a hold of?!
Oh no it’s working fine. I’m just finding things to be grateful for. Since we don’t get a floor anytime soon. And I’d rather have a heater these days.

The budget reconciliation package pushed by Democrats creates a new expanded child tax credit (CTC) that would pay illegal immigrants some $10.5 billion next year. All immigrants with children are eligible, regardless of how they got here and whether their children are U.S.-born.
This includes the roughly 600,000 unaccompanied minors and persons in family units stopped at the border in FY2021 and released into the country pending a hearing.

No it’s not up to the installer. That’s why this has dragged on so long. Home Depot supplies the wood and contacts the middle man. The middle man doesn’t do a damn thing other than coordinate when installers show up. They don’t return phone calls. They’re pretty much useless and probably get a big percentage.
Abby got the name of the installers yesterday. In the event we decide to quit dealing with Home Depot then at least we have the names of somebody willing to work. But the wood has gone up by a dollar square-foot since we bought it so we’re not likely to give up.
Yes, she is too young to quit on her own accord. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some scandal brewing that is about to come out.
