Richards: This is the US, he has burden of proof, call the Ziminski's put them on witness stand, let me cross examine them, how we do it in a court of law, but not in Binger's court.
Richards: Rosenbaum was shot because he was chasing my client, to carry out the threats he made to kill him. Remember, opening statment shot him in the back. Because of the way the bullet went in ,and where it ended up, you know he was horizontal lunging.
Richards: We know how close he was, furthest four feet, we know his hand was on the gun. Just happenstance. C'mon people. Physical evidence does not lie. Use your common sense and good judgment.
Richards: Rosenbaum just ended up at the riots. Walked four miles out to girlfriend home, couldn't stay there for some reason, and four miles back. That's going somepmlace with a purpose, and you saw his purpose.
Richards: More than one bit of testimony if it was hospital or jail, testimony about his medications, hospital -- why didn't Binger bring in a hospital or jail to prove Rosenbaum properly medicated. He'd been off for 7-10 days. Acting like someone off meds.
Richards: Next count 2, McGinnis, reckless--the self-defense does not go to McGinnis, but if Kyle privileged in self-defense to Rosenbaum it carries over to the endangering count here.

Richards: What you see throughout event #2 is individuals working as a mob, they don't know what happened at Car Source #3, somebody says he shot somebody, doesn't know he was being chased by a crazy person, but they will get him, other side.
Richards: They were going to get the person stopping them from wreaking havoc in Kenosha like they did before. Standard is likely to cause great bodily harm, serious bodily injury, a kick to the head is likely to cause a serious injury.
Richards: Did my client suffer debilitating injury? No. But that's not the standard.
Richards: Huber hit client two times with skateboard. Kyle is running away from Huber. State wants to call my client active shooter, loaded connotations. School shootings things like that.
Richards: Active shooter, someone intent on causing multiple injuries, Rosenbaum, he runs for almost two blocks before scene #2. Big thing about Kyle not staying around Car Source after Rosenbaum--if he'd stayed, all that would have happened, same fight in one place.
Richards: My client ran two blocks, doesn't point at anybody, doesn't shoot anybody, runs for police. Binger says, knocks his hat off, trying to take his head off.
Richards: Huber strikes client in head and arm, jump kick man kicks him face, spins him 180, ,and Huber comesin for second likc, head, trying to take his head off, goes grabbing fro the gun.
Richards: Binger wants my client to sit there and hope and pray the gun can't be taken from him. You'll see butt far away from body when shot is fired.
Richards: Even Gaige concerned about blows Huber and JKM inflincting on my client.
Richards: State must disprove self-defense, attacked, hit in head, kicked in head, skateboard, Grosskreutz with a gun in hand. Flinches when Huber shot, then pulls his hands up, and when he comes in to finish the job, going for Rittenhouse, he says involuntary movement.
Richards: Does Kyle fire a second time at Grosskreutz. No he does not. He's coming with a loaded Glock, he wouldn't even admit there was one in the chamber. Grosskreutz won't say anything that puts him in a bad light, has $10MM reasons to lie, and did lie.

Richards: Those are the charges, synopsis of charges, ,burden on state, prove beyond a reasonable doubt that my client did not have the right of self-defense. He is presumed innocent of all charges. If any reasonable hypothesis reconcilable with innocence that is the choice.

Richards: Think about the shoddy investigation, the rush to judgment by prosecutor, failure to call Ziminski,s they want it to be that Kyle was doing something improper. He was 17 year old kid trying to help the community.

Richards: Binger wants to poo-poo client serious desire of client to help people because he borrowed some medical supplies. But he's there to help people.

Kyle was not an active shooter, excused actions of that mob, Kyle only shoots when he is actively being attacked, runs two blocks without firing weapon, hit in back of head, doesn't address, first skateboard attack doesn't shoot Huber.

Richards: As soon as Kyle falls, they are there, attacking him. The law of self-defense.

Richards: Dominick Black, charged on gun charge, looking at 6 years, case adjourned to help the State, pretty truthful, Kyle there to help people, had permission to be there, saw Kyle help woman, hand.

Richards: No pointing by Kyle of any laser sight, no way to do that, gun doesn't have means to do that.

Richards: Never told Kyle not to take gun, went with him to Kenosha with the rifles. Said only person who was helping that he saw was Kyle. Saw Kyle sweating in shock, shot somebody, had to do it.

Richards: Washington, saw rioters breaking up concrete for rocks, saw Rosenbaum erratic, the night before burning garbage trucks, but only the old ones, suggests he thinks there's certain amount of property damage that's OK.

Richards: Detective Howard and Antaramian's is the stuff of what reasonable doubt is made of, two detectives, both lead officers of this case, sat through every minute of trial, and opinions of actions of Rosenbaum, could not be more opposed.

Richards: Howard knew that Rosenbaum hiding in cars and jumped out. That's not good for case, and all of a sudden new theory, when Antaramian testifies, and now we hear for the first time about the provocation pointing of rifle by Kyle.

Judge: When was rifle last checked? After lunch?

Before lunch.

Judge: Check it again.

Richards: All night, shouldering the rifle to right shoulder, like this. That's not the way he was standing, hiis back would be in the drone footage, not how it was. He would have had to be holding it left-handed shell casing and gas coming into his face. Didn't happen.

Richards: Burden of proof. The telephones, search warrants, subpoena records, good police work, but when you pick and choose and make favorites, it's not.

Richards: My clients phone sent to FBI, couldn't crack it, we had no problem with that, gave the codes, so everybody could look at it. We did that. If we had something to hide, they never would have gotten in that phone. They searched it nothing incriminating.

Richards: No militia, no white supremacy on client phone.

Richards: Grosskreutz, just didn't execute search warrant for the first time ever. And he could have consented to search phone--he did not.

Richards: Police have search warrant, if people feel rights violate, you argue about that after the warrant is executed. You don't not search.

Richards: C'mon people. Grosskreutz has $10mm reasons for not wanting people in his phone.

Richards: Get to Antioch, 3:30am n 26th, the detectives, less than four hours after shooting, by 6am Kyle under arrest for 1st degree murder. No autopsy, no witness statements, two or three videos, all of the bullets not even picked up from car source.

Binger: They didn't want another night of shooting and rioting and arson in Kenosha, he travelled across state lines, he was here, rifle across state lines, it was here, he's a white supremacist, nothing.

Richards: That's why you are told to judge the case on the evidence you see in court. Charged on 27th, still didn't have any final information. This was a rush to judgment.

Richards: McGinnis, citizen journalist, didn't see guns, but in those other cities guns can't be openly carried. Here it's legal. My client is no longer charged with gun charge, but Binger needs AR and fear that goes with that for an unjust guilty verdict.

Richards: Balch had never known Kyle before, never talked after, but State wants you to believe he made up a threat to kill. Why? What's in it for him?

Richards: The threat, if I get you alone I kill you. Made. Don't doubt he would have done it to Balch, larger, more assertive, the little guy who gets beatup likes to go after another small guy, that's Kyle. Maybe mistook Kyle for other guy Rosenbaum lunged at.

Richards: You see Rosenbaum at that location, menacing with his chain.

Richards: Amber Rasmussen, DNA is an incredibly useful too, but only as useful as what you put into it. And if DNA shows anything, not proof positive. Know from Kelley that Rosenbaum most probably touched the gun, contact wound. We know Huber touched. Yet no DNA.

Richards: The end of that barrel was not swabbed, and we know he had to be on end of muzzle or would have had soot on all fingers.

Richards: Shout, shove, show, shoot. I asked if there was retreat in there, he said no, looked at me like I was crazy. But my client did try to retreat. Described Rosenbam as belligereant, malevolent, did not see Kyle as aggressive.

Richards: When State asked Lakowski what did Kyle said to you, first said, "I shot somebody, I need help." Then later to State says he told the FBI something diffeerent.

Richards: Rosenbaum walked four miles to Kenosha. DeBruin said just got out of jail, off his meds for 7-10 days, no proof he took his meds.

Richards: Sal Khindri, in picture with them, group photo, everybody there said they were wanted there, had permission, even Black, state's witness.

Richards: They denied were going to pay money, Smith says they were going to pay Smith. Did you get the feeling they are a little bit afraid of being sued like everybody else in this case is.

Richards: Khindri's didn't say don't protect #3, all of them say they had permission. Why would they lie about that, they are not charged with anything. Who are the liars here? Sal and Sam.

Richards: Officer Weidner, found some of the brass, photographed the mask, did not find the bag, and we don't concede there was nothing in that bag, they ahve the burden of proof, they have burden to secure the crime scene. Didn't even find extinguisher.

Richards: Van Wie, Officer Moretti, said it was a war zone, the city on fire, the police felt completely surrounded, constant gunfire that evening, Binger wants it to be fireworks, not really that bad that night. It was hell in this area downtown, violent people.

Richards: Binger says they were pushed back no more danger, but this happened cyclically, and a lot of the fires were set late at night.

Binger: He didn't have valid CCW, wasn't charged, lies to police about being armed, says he dropped his gun going down the street. That's obstructing, in a murder investigation you get in trouble. I've represented those people. He's State star witness, bought and paid for.

Richards: Grosskreutz was also an armed medic, said he would never shoot anybody, keys, wallets, phone gun, never leaves home without a gun. When people carry guns, it's for shooting people. Kyle had run BY him. Gone. Did he go to help Rosenbaum? No he decided to run down client

Richards: Who ultimately put the tourniquet on arm, Lackowski, a member of what he refers to as the militia and the stooges.

Richards: Two encounters between client and Grosskreutz. GG doesn't show a gun, my client doesn't shoot him, my client tells him I'm going to police. GG chases my client with a gun in hand rushes my client.

Richards: His friend said only regret was not emptying clip into my client, we know what his intent was, only my client's shot stopped him.

Richards: Binger says he's going to grab gun. Left hand had phone in it how was he going to grab gun. Right hand, gun. When GG has hands up, my client doesn't shoot him, then decides to shoot my client, but my client shot him first. If retreated it's over.

Documents and footage reveal the Jan 6 Commission Chairman supported a guerilla warfare group.

Rep. Bennie Thompson, the January 6th Commission Chairman, threw his support behind a secessionist group called the Republic of New Afrika (RNA), an unearthed video has revealed.

According to Just The News, Thompson uttered support for the guerilla warfare secessionist group who attempted to take control of several U.S. states in exchange for peace with law enforcement throughout the 20th century.

Thompson’s advocacy on behalf of the RNA has been well documented in newspaper clippings, video footage, FBI and local law-enforcement archives. From this evidence, Thompson has been found to blame law enforcement for instigating violence that led to the murder of police officers and brutal attacks on an FBI agent while in contact with RNA group members.

The RNA has threatened guerilla warfare in the United States since its founding in 1968. The group has been linked to two shootouts: one in New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, and one in Jackson, MS, where two bombs were found inside of a house raided by the FBI. During the second raid, one officer was killed, with a second wounded along with an FBI agent.

After these violent incidents, Thompson sided with the RNA. He went so far as to suggest law enforcement should allow the group to proliferate despite their violent methods. Of the FBI actions against the RNA, he said, “I believe this is an attempt on part of law enforcement officials to stop the Republic from building its community.”

By that point, the FBI had already determined that the group were engaged in multiple violent crimes, and were attempting to stage takeovers of Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia.

In March 1969, an FBI memo described the RNA as a “black extremist separatist organization.” The group was formed with the explicit purpose of “[forming] a ‘Black Government or Black Nation’ that would negotiate with the United States for several southern states in return for domestic tranquility.”

As recently as 2013, Thompson campaigned for RNA’s former vice president Chokwe Lumumba to be mayor of Jackson, MS. Lumumba was successful in his campaign, but died suddenly shortly after his election. Thompson referred to Lumumba as a friend, having known him since 1974.

Thompson is not alone in his radicalized left support, as Rep. Bobby Rush of Illinois founded the Illinois chapter of the Black Panthers in 1968. A year prior, in 1967, armed Black Panthers stormed the state capitol in California.

Both Rush and Thompson have come out against former President Donald Trump. Rush went so far as to state that Trump wanted to instigate a race war.
