Hungry for financial flexibility, a California man named Dylan shelled out a measly $150 a year to eat every meal at Six Flags Magic Mountain in order to save thousands, pay off his student loan debt, get married and purchase a house in Los Angeles.
“You can pay around $150 for unlimited, year-round access to Six Flags, which includes parking and two meals a day,” Dylan, 33, explained to Mel Magazine Monday. “If you time it right, you could eat both lunch and dinner there every day.”
The theme park offers guests a “premium season dining pass” which allows visitors to enjoy lunch and dinner items, as well as a snack and unlimited drinks during every visit on any regular operating day, per Six Flags Magic Mountain’s website. The deal, which doesn’t include alcoholic beverages, is listed on the site at $109.99 plus tax.

Good for him.
A marketing plus for the Corp.
Win, Win
Genius of frugality.
to the 1 second of fame guy:
Thanks for being the stupid braggart who ruins nice things for the rest of us.
whatever dude.
gas to get there? or bus?
Yeah
My problem would be needing to drive 4 hours to the nearest six-flags park.
By the time I got home after lunch, I’d have to turn around to go back for dinner.
You mean the deal that Six Flags used to have?
This is one of those stories where he would have been better off keeping quiet. Six Flags is probably altering next years’ agreement as we speak.
Good for him though.
The new definition of “tree bark cheap”.
That is how far you have to read to figure out he really isn't saving any money if he is living in California.
I pulled a cheap stunt like this when I used to live in El Paso..
An airline put a full back-page ad in the El Paso Times..
“Round trip to Los Angeles only 79.95”
I read all the fine print, it said it was on a space-available basis. You would show up at the airport and sign up for your flight, you might get on and you might not. But if you were bumped you got a goodly chunk of airline miles.
Well, I got to LA and turned it into a game, I would check out how booked up a flight was and then turn up and be bumped for a full fare passenger...and collect my miles.
This went on for quite some time and I ended up with an unbelievable amount of miles...it turned out the Vegas airport was ideal for this opportunity... I was spending more time in Vegas than Wayne Newton!
I flew all over the place New York then back to CA..then back home for a rest and NY again... my friends in NY were sick of the sight of me..lol.
At almost every layover I managed to pull down more miles by being bumped off of a few flights.
It turned into a quest...I traveled a million miles and ate a million packs of free peanuts...
Lol... :)
God bless him. Personally I’m a fan of amusement park junk food, but not sure I’d want it twice a day every day. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
I guess he didn’t worry about the gang thugs who hang out at Six Flags.
No pictures of the guy? Wonder why.
Genius!! LOL
Sounds like he did okay until he bought the house in LA ...
I’ll bet he downside is, he gained 400 lbs ...
